Bout of Books read-a-thon 9.0

Yes. Another read-a-thon. Is there a review a thon I can join after because it's also kind of scary? (I'm going to google that later). Anyway, another Bout of Books read-a-thon, my favorite read-a-thon hosted multiple times during the year. You can check out the blog here and then go from there.

The read-a-thon starts on the 6th, and here is the official information and stuff from the Bout of Books people:

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 9.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team
Obviously I'll be doing daily updates for it and then the first day is like a reminder it starts and also my TBR for the week (spoiler: I have a list of books to reread so look out for that).

November, half of December, and why I don't post here more

Honestly, I probably couldn't give you a reason why I don't post here more. I mean, there's the fact that I do tend to over think and agonize over posts and normally just kind of stare blankly if I open a blank blog entry. But I think the main reason is because I started this blog purely for book reviews. And - that's what it's for, but also I feel like maybe I could use it for more. I'd also really like to switch over to a wordpress thing and get kind of more freedom but - I don't actually know what I'd do with more freedom since I kind of like blogger.

Anyway, onto some actual news, I guess. November. NaNoWriMo. I kept meaning to write up like quick update posts during the month but I was basically brain dead if I wasn't writing or not like physically drinking some caffeinated beverage at the time. To just give you a hint into how truly insane my month was, here's a hint:

This is what my NaNo page looked like at the end of the month, so my end word count was 367k, my brain hurts just thinking about that, in all honesty, I don't know how I did it (probably the overachiever people, in their own forum subject area now yayyy, being super awesome).

Anyway, I do hope to actually post here more, it'll probably be book things, maybe some other stuff if I feel adventurous, but I've noticed when I blog more, I read more, and that's awesome. So that's my update, I guess, I might end up figuring out a schedule for 2014 and I have some - a lot of - catching up to do.
