April Wrap-Up / May TBR

April Wrap-Up! The month started out very well and then I started writing way too many words a day and doing school work and reading fell to the back burner again, sadly. However, I did get some books read before that took over:

  • Rapture in Death (In Death #4) by J.D. Robb (5/5)
  • The Killing Dance (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter #6) by Laurell K. Hamilton (4/5)
  • Ceremony in Death (In Death #5) by J.D. Robb (5/5)
  • Vengeance in Death (In Death #6) by J.D. Robb (5/5)
  • Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders by Neil Gaiman (5/5)
  • Holiday in Death (In Death #7) by J.D. Robb (5/5)
  • Conspiracy in Death (In Death #8) by J.D. Robb (5/5)
  • Midnight in Death (In Death #7.5) by J.D. Robb (5/5)
  • Loyalty in Death (In Death #9) by J.D. Robb (5/5)
And in May I'm planning to, hopefully, get some reading gone. I have two books clubs that I'm going to try and read the main (and one has an alternate pick, too). And then I have some Shakespeare for school to read and some poems and such. And probably more In Death books if I can fit them in, hopefully Anita Blake ones, too. I heard that Anita Blake declines in quality but that, also, Obsidian Butterfly is one of the best, so I'm looking forward to that.

Also, last but not least, sorry for dropping off the blogging planet a bit there, just - school work and writing kind of took over my life.

What did you read in April? And what are you planning to read in May?

  1. I read Divergent and just started Insurgent by Veronica Roth. Also read Matched by Ally Condie which I loved!
My friend keeps trying to persuade me to read the Anita Blake books, maybe I will when I have some more free time - thanks for reminding me!
